Robert Scheer is currently Editor-in-Chief of Truthdig.com, 2007 Webby Award winner for best political blog. He is also a contributing editor for The Nation; a syndicated columnist, based at the San Francisco Chronicle; and a host of “Left, Right and Center” on KCRW, the NPR affiliate in Santa Monica. Between 1964 and 1969 he was a Vietnam correspondent and Editor-in-Chief of Ramparts magazine. He spent 29 years at the Los Angeles Times as a national reporter, columnist, and contributing editor. He was also a project consultant for oliver Stone’s Nixon and played the role of a journalist in Warren Beatty’s Bullworth.
